Tunnel

We got this cool tunnel for Emi from Auntie Jaime who accidentally ordered 2 too many! Emi had fun playing with Gung gung in the tunnel at their house, which is where the tunnel is right now. We'll bring the tunnel home eventually, it's so much fun!

Shopping!

Emi can say "shopping." The other day I asked her if we should go shopping or home and she said, "shopping" so we stopped at Trader Joe's. Emi has not been wanting to sit in the cart when we shop, instead she likes to push the cart. At some places like PCC it's fine because they have kid size carts that Emi is very good at pushing (she knows to follow me and listen, as well as stay out of the way of other shoppers) but we don't go to PCC that often. At stores with regular sized carts she prefers to push them buy standing in front of me while I guide the cart, which works out pretty well because she cooperates with me when I tell her it's time to stop the cart. I will have to take a picture next time we are out. Here are some pictures of her "shopping" at home...she likes to wear my flats and speed around in her little hand me down Barbie shopping cart.

Silly Girl

Emi was being silly while I was trying to get pictures of her in this outfit that her Great Aunt and Uncle got her. I have been trying to get Emi to put this outfit on since February but she was never in the mood, until today! We got the outfit on and this is what we got...Thanks for the outfit!

Children's Museum

We met our friends at the Children's Museum today since we didn't have Jake and Josh over today.

Emi really wanted to drive the semi-truck, she waited patiently for her turn.

Of course we couldn't leave the museum without getting wet at the water playing area...

Emi was so funny, she noticed a much younger child near her and started getting balls for her. At one point I saw her touch her cheek and ear, she really loves babies!

Emi's shirt got wet even though I had one of those bibs for her...thanks to her friend Collin, Emi was able to borrow a dry shirt :)

Studying with the Boys!

Emi likes to be just like her pals Jake and Josh. I found this Hello Kitty work book that she likes to scribble in at Michael's $2 spot. She loves feeling like she has a work book to do like the boys!

Top Pot Donuts!

We finally made it to Top Pot Donuts in Bellevue. Erich has mentioned eating donuts from this place near his work, that I guess is a popular donut place, and we finally remembered to check it out together. The donuts were yummy, and don't think we are pigs for getting a dozen donuts, we brought them to share with everyone that was having lunch at Po Po and Gung Gung's house that day.

Emi doesn't look too happy in the pictures, she was in the middle of saying "cheese!"

Emi picked the donut with the pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles...she probably ate a quarter of it.

The Big Apple!

We can't find those small tot sized apples any more at Trader Joe's so we are sharing regular size apples with Emi.

She really likes apples!

Modge Podge

Here pictures from throughout the day...
Hiiiiiiiiiii!
Look Mom I brought all my blankets to the bonus room!
Mini felt board.

Emi was saying, "listen."

Almost every time I try to get Emi to smile at the camera I get a shot of her like this!

Our Week!

I have been terrible with taking pictures this week, partly because I haven't been packing it with me in my bag. SO I guess you can read about what we did this week. We had a trial class at Little Gym on Monday, Emi really enjoyed it! I think we will sign Emi up in the fall because after Kindermusik I am hoping the sun will be out and we can have play dates or do other fun things. Tuesday we spent the day with Asher. I took Emi and her little friend to the Issaquah Library to see the band Casper Babypants, it was our first outing together so we didn't make it through the whole performance (we had to arrive at 10am to get tickets and then wait until 11am for the show) we hope to make it out to more story times this summer. On Wed. and Thur. morning I tutored Jake and Josh. Emi calls both boys Josh, when asked who Jake is she says, "more Josh." I think it's probably because I am constantly calling Josh Jake and Jake Josh! I am trying to get better :) Our afternoons have been quiet but good.

Today is Friday...we started a new session at Kindermusik today, sorry no pictures. The theme this session is the Zoo Train! Today we talked and listened to different sounds that animals make when they are babies and then when they are adults, we learned some new songs as well. It's so much fun, I know we are going to miss Kindermusik after these 5 weeks of class. Emi is napping now...I feel sad that I don't have any pictures to share this week. I will get the paparazzi to follow us so our updates are more interesting next week. Hope you are all enjoying your Memorial Day weekend!

BBQ at Auntie Jeanie's and Uncle Marc's

Jeanie and Marc invited us to their house for a BBQ, it was a perfect day for a bbq on their deck. Unfortunately Erich was home sick and couldn't enjoy the yummy bbq and warm sun!
Gung gung being silly...
Emi thinks Gung, gung is pretty funny.
Playing the drums while waiting for lunch.

Thanks for a great lunch!
