Saying good bye to 2008!

We had a very eventful 2008-Emi was the major highlight! Can't wait to see what 2009 will hold for us...hopefully good health and more memories!

This is how we spent our evening...

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and played!

Emi watched her Daddy, aunties and uncles play Rock Band!

Emi even got to touch the guitar.

Then Emi watched and listened some more...

Uncle Marc was holding me while I watched some more...

Then it was time for me to go home and get ready for bed!

Fun with Luca!

After dinner Luca wanted to hold Emi while he was still sitting in his high chair so I sat Emi on his lap and they were so cute playing...Luca thought it was fun to have Emi touch his cheeks, and Emi thought it was funny too! Look at her smile!

We've just been hanging around...

It's been really nice to have Erich home! We've been taking it easy and relaxing at home.

Emi is growing so quickly! We're breaking into the 6 month clothing that she's received!

Mini Reunion with Emily and Paige!

It was SO great to see Paige and Emily! I'm glad Emi got to meet both of you! We will have to keep in touch and see each other again!

Emi's First Christmas!

Emi's first Christmas was very memorable with all the snow that we woke up to!
We started our morning a little later than usual together at our house with Emi.


Emi looks so pretty in her Christmas dress!



Erich made me this Christmas card. He started making cards for me for special occasions and holidays since I have a room full of card making tools! I think he is getting pretty good! I love this card and the cherry pendant. Thanks!!!


Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house, where Auntie Natalie was impatiently waiting to open presents! Before we opened presents we enjoyed a great meal together! It was fun wrapping wontons and making lunch together on Christmas day!

After our first round of presents we went to Emi's other Grandma and Grandpa's house for a delicious dinner and more presents! We also celebrated Grandma Valarie's birthday!









Emi is lucky to be so close to both sides of her family! Emi loves and thanks all of you!

Christmas Eve

Traditionally we celebrate Christmas Eve at Christine and Eric's house but with all the snow this season we decided that we better stick closer to home and off the slick roads. Emi was getting smoothered with kisses from Grandpa!

Since Emi is feeling better now we took her to play in the snow. Auntie Jeanie found this warm snow outfit for Emi! Thanks, it worked out so well and she looks so cute! We took a lot of pictures today (some are kinda random) so I made a slide show. Enjoy!

Auntie Natalie and Uncle Justin are engaged!!!

Yes, just 2 days after Jeanie and Marc got engaged Natalie and Justin are now engaged too! Yipee!!! Who needs Christmas presents now?

Justin is really brave, he proposed to Natalie at my parents house with all of us there! Good work, I think you got her good! Thanks for letting us share your moment tonight!

Then we took a nice drive in the snow...


We arrived at Trent and Steph's for homemade minestrone soup and grilled cheese, the perfect meal for a a snowy day!
