What to do...

With Emi recovering from being sick and the heat we've been staying in doors...and getting bored! Here are a few snapshots of our afternoon... Here comes trouble... What??? I'm just going to check out the bonus room... Wait...what's that I see... Emi loves to play with laundry!
I'll help you mommy! I guess there is more than one way to do laundry in this house...

Napping

We moved a mattress into Emi's room so that I could nurse her in her own room so she doesn't get used to being brought into our room at 4am or 5am ... it really came in handy this week with Emi being sick. Here she is napping!

Lately...

Sorry it's been so long, again, since I have updated the blog! Here's what we've been up to lately...

Saturday Emi woke up with a fever, we thought it was just due to teething since the last time she had a fever, it just lasted for a day. Well...her fever broke Monday but then Tuesday she woke up with a rash. Poor little thing...we went to the doctor today and she said that her rash is probably fever related and caused by a virus she had. Soooo hopefully Emi and everyone else can begin to sleep better! :)

After Emi's visit to the doctor she took a nap, ate lunch, played, then read some books.

Emi starts to express herself sometimes and it's so fun to hear her little voice. I wonder what she is really trying to tell me!

Auntie Natalie

Auntie Natalie came over to play today! It was her day off and she wanted to help me with a scrapbook project and play with Emi!

Emi had fun showing Natalie how she cooks it up on her play kitchen!



She also took a few steps!

Reading...

Emi was reading in her tent...she decided to take a break from helping me with the laundry that you see all over the floor :)

Playdate with Nathan

Emi and Nathan had their monthly playdate today. We first picked blueberries at the Mercer Slough, it was a warm day but they both did well in the blueberry field.

After we went to Bellevue Square to eat lunch and play! Emi and Nathan have so much together. I'm so glad that we have been getting together every month it's been so fun to see Emi and Nathan grow and reach new milestones.

Bon Odori

We got Emi dressed in her kimono and drove into Seattle for Bon Odori on Sunday. It was super fun and not too crowded. Emi really enjoyed watching the dancing and drum performances. It was the perfect weather for our fun family day out!


Emi got a picture with a Sea Fair pirate, she looked a little concerned about his sword.

Emi and Erich shared a dance, it was so sweet!

The meatballs come to play!

Luca and Brando stopped by to play with Emi. It has been a while since they've been over to play. Luca enjoyed playing with Emi's kitchen and Brando was into checking out the fish. SO much fun, we have to get together more!

Sabrina and Emi

Sabrina and Auntie Joyce came over to play today!
Emi your mom says to put this hat on you...so I am going to try.

Emi says, no way, it's way too hot for a hat today!
Emi and Sabrina also had lunch together today, it was so cute watching them eat together.

JT's First Birthday

Emi and I had a playdate with her swimming buddy JT and his mom Becky.
It was also JT's first birthday! JT is opening his present...

Maybe next time we can try out the see-saw, there were lots of kids playing at the park today. Thanks for sharing part of your special day with us!

Playdate with Jayden

Emi and Jayden had a fun playdate at the Kids Cove at Bellevue Square. Emi was very busy exploring the whole place! Jayden enjoyed tasting all the toys. The two of them had fun together! See you again next time!

Emi was sound asleep afterwards at Grandma's house. My mom has the magic touch with Emi, she can always get her to nap in the swing!
