Lately Emi will ask me, "Who's coming today?" Since we didn't have anyone coming over on Sunday I asked her who she wanted to see and she said, "Po po and Gung gung!" So we invited them for dinner since they were busy earlier in the day. Emi was excited to have company to play with her...

We are so happy that Auntie Steph and Uncle Trent were able to come over to meet lil Kenzi. Kenzi was quite fussy that night, luckily Uncle Trent had the magic touch and got her to calm down and fall asleep :)

Spring Decorating!

I picked up these window decorations from the Target dollar spot. Emi has been moving them around on the front window for a good 30 minutes or more...just when I thought I was going to have an assistant while I prepared dinner :) Oh well, she's having fun decorating!

Beautiful Spring Weather!

It was SO nice to wake up to spring like weather and even though we are getting over our colds we headed to the park for some fresh air. Emi pushed her tricycle and Kenzi rode in the Baby Hawk carrier.

On our walk back home Emi grabbed the camera out of the trunk of her trike and said, "Wait, I have to take a picture of something." And this is what she snapped...pretty good!

Beading

We were given this beading set from our neighbors and I decided to take it out for Emi to try out. She seems really into it for now. I also put some other activities (chalk board, magnet board, puzzles...) for her to play with in her room so that she can have some quiet time, we'll see how that goes.


Emi still enjoys reading, right now her favorite reads are her Hello Kitty books :)

Kenzi @ 4 weeks

Kenzi's growing beautifully! She had her 4 week check up and she weighed in at 8lbs 11.5 ounces and she's in the 50%tile for length/height.

I just love how Emi is with Kenzi. So happy to have two healthy and happy girls!

What's Kenzi Up To?

Like most babies Kenzi eats and sleeps...here she is snoozin' at my parents' house a few weeks ago when we were all over for lunch.

Auntie Corey and Nathan came over to meet Kenzi. Nathan was so sweet and smiley when he first laid eyes on baby Kenzi. Thanks for visiting and bringing gifts for the girls!

Nathan came over on Friday, as usual...Emi and Nathan played with Kenzi.

4 day update...

Emi loves helping us take care of Kenzi. Erich and I love watching our girls bond. Kenzi smiles when she hears Emi laugh, it's the sweetest thing!

Kenzi lost a little more than 10% of her birth weight so we had to supplement for about 2 days and now she's back up or more than her birth weight.
