Christmas Tree

Sorry this post is so late. At first we thought we would buy a fake tree but then I read that it is actually worse for the environment to have a fake tree and that cutting down trees that are planted with the intention of being used as a Christmas tree is not as damaging to the environment that some would think. So the morning after we got home from Hawaii we set off on another adventure, to cut down our Christmas tree! The battery on our camera was running low so we didn't get many pictures. We found our cute tree in North Bend. It was really fun since it was Erich's first time at a tree farm and Emi's too! The other cool thing was that it was snowing and there were horses, chickens, and sheep right next to the property of the tree farm and Emi really enjoyed getting an up close look at all of them!

Emi does not seem to mind that it is snowing and freezing compared to the 80 degree weather that we had just left!
Erich just finished sawing his very first tree!

After cutting down the tree it was a process to get it lit and decorated, I think it took at least 3 days!

Here it is...
