New Jammies

Emi is already wearing her 2t jammies! I can't believe how tall she is getting and how fast she is growing...here's Emi and Daddy reading before bedtime.

Tot School

I like a lot of the Tot School ideas and think that Emi would enjoy some of these activities. I am also excited to use some of the things I have packed up from my classroom. I don't have a calendar set up yet or anything real structured but I did set out an activity for Emi today while I was tutoring. Emi seemed interested in transferring the counting bears from one spot to the egg carton slots. Stay tuned as Tot School evolves at our house...

Woodland Park Zoo

We took Emi to the Woodland Park Zoo for the first time this Saturday. We couldn't have asked for better weather or better company! Auntie Corey, Uncle Marc, and Nathan met up with us for a fun day exploring at the zoo. We will take more trips to the zoo now that we are members :)

Kindermusik

I tried to get some shots of Emi during her Kindermusik class. It was a little tricky getting pictures of only Emi. We both enjoy the music class with Ms. Marika, we only have 6 more sessions left with her since she won't be teaching in the fall, I'm sad about that but we are looking at other options of fun activities we can do!

Mother's Day

I had such a great Mother's Day with Emi, Erich, my parents, and my sisters. We had lunch and dinner together at my parents' house and while Emi napped we were able to work on a sewing project together. Erich spent time with his mom too, they took a nice walk with her dogs and bathed them.

Erich's getting more and more creative each time he makes me a card for a special occasion, this is the card he made me for Mother's Day! He also got me a magazine subscription for the 425 Magazine and Emi picked out a balloon for me --I wasn't expecting anything at all.

Baby Avery

Emi and I stopped by Auntie Maureen's house for a visit on Monday. Emi loves baby Avery, you can see in the picture how big her smile is! I'm so glad we were able to snap of shots of our visit today. Avery is so sweet and cute! Thanks for having us over, can't wait to see you both again soon!

Farmer's Market

Saturday was a perfect morning for the Farmer's Market, it was sunny and dry. We met up with Auntie Jaime, Uncle Gianni, Luca and Brando for a few minutes before they had to go to soccer...


We picked up a hanging flower basket for Grammie for Mother's Day and then had an early lunch. Emi just had a little snack since it wasn't her lunch time yet. Erich and I enjoyed yummy pulled pork sammies from Maximus Minimus.


Before we left we pick up a frog aquarium. They make great pets! We just have to remember to feed them twice a week and change the water every 6 months! Here are some pictures of Emi taking care of her new pets.

Garage Sale Find!

Emi and I found this car at a garage sale! I was so excited because we just saw one earlier that morning at the Farmers' Market. Emi LOVES riding and pushing it around, now if we can just get the sun to come out and stay out! :)

Erich's Birthday!

Erich turned 29 on Friday! We had on Friday night at the Rouge Brewery. Yesterday Erich's mom had us over for dinner.

Emi was afraid of Sumire, poor little girl...everytime she barked Emi jumped!

Emi, Brando and Luca!

Auntie Jaime and Brando came over for a fun playdate Thursday morning. Emi and Brando had fun coloring, taking turns with the vacuum, and sharing toys. I took so many pictures I decided to make a slide...

On Saturday Emi and I met Auntie Jaime and Luca at the Issaquah Farmers' Market. We saw lots of flowers, fresh vegetables, hand made goods and frog aquariums! We are going to bring Daddy next weekend to check them out because Emi was interested in them and they sounded like easy pets to have (change water every 6 months and feed them 4 pellets of food a day).
