We had our postnatal check up on Thursday, Emi lost just enough of her birth weight for us to need to give her supplemental milk. Mommy is recovering well but since she had the blood loss her milk has been delayed. Emi has been a lot more content with the added supplement and we haven't had to relive the first night home since :) Mommy and Daddy are VERY thankful of that. We are able to give Emi the supplemental milk that I pump, and if there still isn't enough then we give her some formula. It's really neat that we can give her the supplement through a little tube/syringe, sometimes we just use a finger feed and Daddy can feed Emi. We've been doing the feedings together because two hands are just not enough sometimes.
