Super Sunday!

We had a great day today! Mark, Emily, and Laurie came to visit us at lunch time. Thank you for bringing lunch! We are so lucky to have such great friends!

This afternoon we took Emi to Grandpa and Grandma's house...Emi met her Auntie Jeanie and saw her other relatives too! Thanks for a great meal and dessert! Auntie Sonia and Uncle Joe brought a yummy cake to celebrate Emi's arrival!

Emi is such a Daddy's girl, I love seeing them together it's so sweet!



I decided to help Emi out when we were riding in the car, it looked like the sun was shining in her eyes...

Emi is so loved!

Today we took Emi to meet Mommy's co-workers. We didn't get any pictures but everyone was very excited to meet our little Emi. Mommy misses all her work friends already but she is very excited to get to spend this school year at home with Emi. We will definitely visit Cascade in a few more weeks after the beginning of the school year is underway.

This evening Daddy's cousins Errol, Stephan, and Christin came over for dinner.We hope to see you guys again!


After they left Erich decided that Emi needed to start practicing her grip. He was explaining to Emi that she is training to swing from tree to tree and to grip on to her Mommy...

Emi Meets Daddy's Friends

Today Tony, Dave, and Blake came to meet Emi at lunch time! We enjoyed chatting and laughing with them. Thank you Tony and Melissa for the cute outfits and book too! Emi can't wait to meet Tony's kids, we will have to have a playdate when Emi is a little bit older!

Before our friends came to visit we went for a walk around the neighborhood and...

Auntie Natalie came to play with Emi and help us out around the house! Thank YOU so much for coming over to help, maybe next time Emi will be awake more so you can play with her.



This afternoon Emi had her weight checked, she is doing great! Emi weighs 7 lbs and 3.5 oz.

This weekend...

On Friday Auntie Emily brought over some more friends from Cascade to meet Emi! Thanks for coming Lindsey and Monique, it was great to chat with you guys!

Walking with Mommy and Daddy

We took Emi for a walk in the neighborhood yesterday. We plan to go on longer walks when Mommy is feeling up to it. Daddy wants to check out the Soaring Eagle Trail! Emi seemed to enjoy the walk, she was all snuggly with her Daddy.

Today we showed Emi her Hazel the Hippo chair and Porter the Pup mat. I think she really likes them! Thank you for getting them for her :)

Emi had a short visit with Grandma yesterday.


She also met her Great Aunt Sonia and Great Uncle Joe! They are GREAT! They brought us dinner too :) Thanks!

I have known Michelle and Joseph since they were little babies too! I am so glad Helen, Michelle, and Joseph were able to come over and hold little Emi. They were so sweet and thoughtful to bring Emi their favorite baby board books, We're going on a Bear Hunt and Good Night Gorilla. Thank you! We hope you come to visit again very soon!

We just love holding and playing with Emi! She keeps us very busy but we love her!

Emi's First Bath

Emi had her first bath Sunday night. She didn't mind getting her hair and face washed but when it came to getting out of the tub she really did not like that! I think it was too cold but we were trying to dry her off and warm her up again as quickly as possible!
