Balls!

Emi got 250 plastic balls for her birthday from Grandma and Grandpa. She loves these because I think they remind her of the ones she plays with in swim class. We put them in the pack n'play and Emi thinks it's great!

Urgent Care

We had our first visit the Urgent Care with Emi today. She was playing at Asher's and cut her finger pretty bad (she smooshed it in the door of the play kitchen)and I didn't know if she needed stitches. I stayed pretty calm but I was really worried that she might have broken it because her little pinky was so smashed and then I saw the blood and something white (sorry for gory the details) and didn't know if it was her tendon or bone...thankfully she didn't need stitches and she seems to be healing well.

I have more updates (Erich's triathlon, a wedding, Emi's birthday party and our latest playdate) to make but Erich needs his computer now so check back later this week :)

Nathan and Emi

We had another fun playdate with Nathan and Auntie Corey. It was a warm sunny day, Corey packed a yummy picnic for us and we headed to a really neat park in their neighborhood. Nathan and Emi enjoyed exploring on the playground. Thanks for a fun day!

Emi's 1st Birthday Party!

Emi had a blast at her first birthday party! Thank you to everyone for coming to celebrate with her! I didn't get as many pictures with everyone as I would have liked but I hope Emi has a lot of great memories from this day!

Chika and Eugene's Wedding

We attended Eugene and Chika's wedding at Snoqualmie Golf Course, it was a beautiful wedding on a perfect day. Congratulations you two! We were so happy to be with you on your very special day!

Emi meets Carrie

Carrie used to live with me when I owned my house in Renton. We worked together at Cascade, now she is happily married living in Maryland. Thanks for coming to visit and all your help! See you again!

Beaver Lake Triathlon

Erich and Trent completed the BLT today! Good job guys! This was Erich's 2nd triathlon this summer and he is planning on doing 2 more in the fall. Here are pictures of Erich and Trent...swimming, biking, and running...they were going to fast it was hard to snap more than one picture! Emi and I had fun watching and waiting for them to finish each event.

We went over to Auntie Jaime's for a pizza dinner and some fun! Emi and Kailee played together, so cute! I guess I didn't get any pics of the meatballs, darn!Thanks for a fun night!
