Kids' Cove

Emi didn't want to just watch kids playing at the Kids' Cove at Bellevue Square, she wanted to climb around like all the other kids.

I am so glad Emi is taking such a good nap this morning...here is what she looks like now!

I've been working on trying to get Emi to fall asleep for her morning nap by herself...so far she's been able to do it in the swing, it's all about catching her at the right time...hopefully this continues!

Playdate

Emi loves her buddy Josh. Meg and I think it's so sweet the way Josh and Emi play together. Josh is very kind and gentle with Emi. Emi was thoroughly entertained with stuffed animals, Josh playing his guitar for her, and peek-a-boo! We are so glad you are close by! We missed Jake today, summer is just around the corner so we'll all get together again soon!



Emi really loves Josh, she was ready to give him hugs and cuddles!

Reading!

Emi has always loved her books, but now she is starting to babble as she looks and turns the pages. It is super cute, she is reading in her own little language! I will have to capture it on video sometime.

We were heading out for a walk and I tried to get Emi to wear her sunglasses but she isn't really into wearing them over her eyes anymore...I did notice Emi looking at my sunglasses that were on the top of my head so, we decided to give it a try for her. I think she liked it much better, they stayed on for the whole ride!

Emi's First BBQ

We had a great time at Uncle Marc and Auntie Jeanie's house! They invited everyone over for a BBQ at their new house. It was a perfect day to enjoy their deck! Thanks guys!

We started out with a trip to Ikea this morning and after we survived that we headed to Coulon Park for our first picnic with Emi.

Emi and Nathan meet again for their May play date! Corey and I had fun watching Emi and Nathan interact. They are really cute and funny together. Emi loves her friend Nathan and can't wait until they see each other again!
