It's Almost the End of June...

and I haven't blogged since April!  I promise to post something this weekend...this post will force me to begin to get caught up.  What can you look forward to?  Mother's Day, fun cousin time, Uncle Justin's graduation...oh and our trip to Hawaii...Father's Day...and more, yikes!

We celebrated Erich's 31st birthday today! We had miso broiled salmon, salad, and rice. Instead of cake we had angel food cake and fresh berries! Yummy! Happy birthday Daddy! We love you!

P.S. Daddy finally got the mountain bike of his dreams :)

Art Show 2012

Emi's school had their Art Show tonight. It was a very fun event that showcased art! There was singing, dancing, and master pieces to take home. I will take some pictures of Emi's art work and add it to this post later...

Tunnel

Sometimes these two lil girls don't take a nap while Emi is at school...so we find fun things to entertain ourselves until it's time for pick up Emi. Today it was the colorful tunnel. Melanie is starting to get more curious about some of her cousins toys and will venture near the opening of the tunnel. Kenzi just cracks herself up as she looks back at Melanie. It's the little things :)

Kenzi's First Trip to the Dentist

Emi was looking forward to her dentist appointment all week, she would ask me how many more "sleeps" until the dentist.  It was Kenzi's first time to the dentist and she was pretty cooperative.

Emi got some x-rays this time.

Emi checked out with no cavities and was happy to remind us that evening that the dentist said, "you don't have to brush your teeth tonight because of the bubble gum vitamin that was painted on her teeth."

Nathan's 4th Birthday Party!

We were happy to celebrate Nathan's 4th birthday with him and his family.  Nathan and Emi are just 4 months apart and the best of friends!  They spend a lot of time together, it's so fun to watch them both grow up together.  Happy birthday Nathan!

Easter

We got the cousins together for an egg hunt at Gung Gung and Po Po's house. Emi was a little weary of the Easter Bunny, she was concerned that he would be stinky like Santa-that's what she remembers from taking Santa pictures the past few years.  Before the egg hunt Emi got to decorate some hard boiled eggs.
